Center for Institutional Partnerships

Center for Institutional PartnaershipThe Centre will function as the nodal point within IICA for the development of a virtual network of national / international intellectuals, experts and other resources who can contribute significantly in raising the level of research and intellectual discourse in the Institute.

The Centre will develop partnerships with different institutions, universities, management institutes, think tanks, etc. wherever there is a possibility of creating synergy by joining or complementing each other. The Center's activities will include collaboration with its partners for

  1. exchange of knowledge and information,
  2. joint research,
  3. exchange of trainees and faculty,
  4. joint consultancy projects,
  5. development and execution of training programmes,
  6. partnership for change management
  7. seminars and workshops on subjects of mutual interest

International/multi-lateral partnerships:

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs itself and the various bodies under its administrative jurisdiction (Competition Commission of India (CCI), Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India (ICWAI), etc.) take up initiatives for international cooperation, particularly in terms of legislative and regulatory structures/processes, mutual recognition for professionals, setting standards for accounting, insolvency regimes, compliance management systems, etc. IICA has been constituted to assist in coordinating and harmonizing these initiatives and provide think tank support to the Ministry on such ventures.

Institutional Partnerships through IICA will provide a modality for catalyzing resolution of issues and problems of concern to businesses, enable development of strategies for facilitating better corporate and business functioning through appropriate legislative, regulatory, strategic, policy, administrative and corporate governance measures. Such partnerships are expected to create a dynamic system of exchange of ideas, information for creating new enabling structures and facilitate solving of practical problems, development of training courses and modules of specialized as well as multi-disciplinary nature which may be run by IICA schools.
